It had been a long night, but in the end the Champion of Kirkwall had emerged victorius. Emerging out from the Gallows, the Templars silently watching them go, Fenris found himself looking at his companions and wondering what would happen now. Anders was clearly going to stay by Hawke's side, and the Champion clearly wasn't going to turn away from the crazy Abomination, even after all he had done.

And Fenris found he couldn't stay, not after all this.

It hurt, knowing that he was leaving behind an important part of his life, a time when he had been happy, and safe. When he'd had friends and fun and had actually laughed. But no matter how much he cared for the Champion, he could not stay. Who knew what Anders would do next.

But where could he go, he wondered as he swiftly packed up his belongings and left his rundown Hightown mansion for the last time. At least he no longer had to worry about Danarius being at his heels. But...

His eyes took in the devestation of the Chantry, or rather where the Chantry had been, as he walked past, and his mind instantly fell on Sebastian. The Prince had left after the explosion, after Anders had been spared. Fenris did not blame him for that, but...Sebastian had once offered him a home in Starkhaven, a job even. And Sebastian had always been one of the companions that Fenris had gotten along with the most.

Decided, Fenris headed out of the Kirkwall gates, using some of his saved up coin to purchase a small but swift horse, and soon after was galloping down the main highway, after the Prince of Starkhaven.
